Our new snow-making equipment ensures that you will always be met with ideal conditions on our toboggan run and cross-country skiing trails. We also organise winter sports days on the sledging track at Zatrnik and at Valvazor House above Žirovnica.
Our dedicated team are highly qualified and experienced, having successfully organised more than 300 sports days. Working with active tourist and mountain guides, ski and cross-country ski instructors and members of the mountain rescue service, you can be reassured that the highest standards of safety are maintained, guaranteeing peace of mind and leaving you to simply have fun and enjoy the experience.
When you organise a sports day with us in Jezersko, you will be delighted to find the action close at hand. All of our ice and snow activities are located within a 500 metre radius, around the idyllic scenery of Lake Planšarski, in the Ravenska Kočna valley. We can create Sport Days for all age groups, ensuring a memorable experience for every individual.
Catering and toilet facilities are also easily accessible throughout the day and you are welcome to park your bus in the nearby car park, enabling safe drop-off and pick-up for your groups
Our one-kilometre toboggan run at Zatrnik is carefully prepared each day with our snow groomer. There are also additional catering and toilet facilities, and all buses can park in the nearby car park for safe exit and entry. In addition to sledding and snowshoeing on Zatrnik, cross-country skiing can be arranged on nearby Pokljuka.
The sledding run at Zatrnik is more demanding than the one at Jezersko and therefore only suitable for the last three years of primary school and for older students.
A 6.5 km long forest road winds from the Valvazorjev dom mountain hut to the reservoir lake above Žirovnica. In winter this road is closed to traffic and in good snow conditions you can enjoy the longest sledding track in Slovenia. The track is groomed with a snowplough every Thursday, making it the ideal choice for Friday sports days. All buses can park at the reservoir in Žirovnica, where it is safe to get off and on.
The toboggan run above Žirovnica is only suitable for students and sports departments, mountaineering clubs, etc. due to the long access (walking time: 1h 20 min, 561 vertical metres).
